Social Impact weekend

Community. Connection. Confidence.

Online Nov 6th - 8th , 2020

HYBRID EVENT | MADRID & ONLINE

OCTOBER 2021

Thanks for submitting!

*At Emzingo|U, we want to create an inclusive community where all feel welcomed, heard, and seen. We have chosen to use the asterisk after women* to indicate that we aim to use an inclusive definition of "woman" and "female," welcoming those of all gender identities. Emzingo|U is on a learning journey of our own to ensure we're creating inclusive environments for all gender, racial, religious, and international identities. We welcome your input if you are passionate about or an expert in Gender & LGBTQ+ Equality. Please email us at partnerships@emzingo.com. We look forward to learning together.

All Hands In

Are you interested in social entrepreneurship?

Do you want to meet female founders from across the globe?

Are you eager to start your own organization or help a female entrepreneur with hers?

THE EVENT

Join us to meet, connect, and grow alongside self-identifying women* working, studying, and interested in social impact from around the world. At Emzingo|U, we aim to train the next generation of responsible and inclusive leaders. If you are like us, you may also believe that many of those future leaders are those who identify as women*! And that you, too, are one of them. Come learn alongside women* from all over the world - Peru, Brazil, South Africa, Cameroon, Colombia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Japan, India, US, Canada, Mexico and more - to discuss and connect around social entrepreneurship, women's* leadership, mentoring, group coaching, confidence building, samba, and believing in ourselves and our ability to impact change.

You will receive a certificate in Global Social Entrepreneurship once you attend the full weekend conference.

WHY JOIN

White Feather

CONNECTION

You will have the opportunity to meet, learn from, and innovate with female social entrepreneurs from all over the world.

CONFIDENCE AND SKILLS BUILDINg

Incredible female founders from across the world will use their experience and success to teach us lessons on responsible investment, the power of positivity, building purpose into your business, wellness at work, and how to overcome our doubts to make change.

SUPPORT AN ENTREPRENEUR

We will also use human centered consulting tools to help female-led nonprofits and social enterprises from across the  world overcome a specific challenge. Each team will pitch their ideas to the bigger group for a chance to win a cash prize to help  their entrepreneur bring their ideas into action.

COMMUNITY

Every participant will have the opportunity to listen, learn, share their own knowledge, reflect, and grow together. Mentor mixers, samba lessons, and optional pitch and f*ck up nights will help us to uplift, support, and connect amazing women* from all over the world.

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

USE DESIGN THINKING TO ASSIST SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS IN  BRAZIL, PERU AND SOUTH AFRICA

You will learn design thinking and human centered design mindsets to help assist a social entrepreneur from Brazil, Peru, or South Africa. Each organization will present a challenge, and you will work with other women* to help generate innovative ideas to help them overcome that challenge. Each group will then present their recommendations for a chance to win $500USD for their social entrepreneur. The three finalist teams will receive a Global Social Impact Challenge certificate.
