The Global Innovation Internship

The Global Innovation Internship (GII) is an eight-week, fully remote program designed for undergraduate students seeking meaningful consulting experience while balancing their academic commitments.

  • September to November of 2026. Eight-week program. (Part time - 15 hours per week).

  • Fully remote, in-semester program. Projects from Peru and Mexico.

  • Undergraduate students.

Through a blend of live online sessions, asynchronous learning, and guided project work, students build foundational consulting and leadership skills.

At the core of the internship is a virtual consulting project with a nonprofit or social enterprise in Peru. Working in small teams, students collaborate directly with their partner organization to address a clearly defined challenge, applying creative problem-solving and teamwork while engaging with real issues affecting communities on the ground.

Throughout the program, participants benefit from academic sessions that introduce essential consulting tools, innovation frameworks, and reflective leadership practices, tailored to support students at the early stages of their professional development.

While the experience is online, interns gain meaningful cultural insight by working closely with Peruvian clients. Through project context, organizational interaction, and exposure to local challenges and opportunities, students develop a deeper understanding of Peru’s social realities and strengthen their ability to collaborate across cultures.

The Global Innovation Internship is more than a typical remote internship. It offers a structured, supportive, and globally oriented learning environment where students can explore their strengths, gain practical consulting experience, and begin shaping their leadership identity.
