Virtual NexGen

 Impact Lab

what is it

The Virtual NexGen Impact Lab is a 5-week program for graduate level students that aims to inspire responsible leadership, prepare students to tackle global challenges, and connect them to local nonprofits and social enterprises.

Working in teams of 2-to-4 students from various universities, participants will learn about the local socioeconomic challenges and realities.

Level of degree: Graduate Students 
Duration: 5 Weeks
Locations available: Peru or South Africa


Social Impact Project

Throughout the program, participants will get the opportunity to experience project-based learning and consulting. They will collaborate virtual with their teams and mentors on a social impact project with our field partners locally.

Individual executive-level coaching sessions will be provided. 

Successive learning modules such as Human Centered Design, Cultural Awareness and Theory|U Methodologies allow students to develop desirable, feasible, and viable solutions and recommendations to the project.

Each program is customized to the host country. Remote interactions such as visits, networking, and panels or conversations with organizations, local experts, and responsible business leaders further add to the local context and the program's challenge project.

At the end of the program, the teams present their final recommendations to the social organization. Students also reflect on their experience and how to apply their newly developed skills and knowledge in their academic and professional lives.
