Virtual Impact Learning Trek
what is it
The Virtual Impact Learning Trek is a 5-day program that includes learning modules such as academic sessions, workshops, and panels. The program's core is a project-based innovation challenge to assist a social organization such as a local nonprofit or social enterprise.

Throughout the program, participants will get the opportunity to experience project-based learning and consulting. They will collaborate remotely with their teams and mentors on a social innovation challenge project
Once the program begins, successive learning modules such as Human Centered Design, Cultural Awareness and Artificial Intelligence allow students to develop desirable, feasible, and viable solutions and recommendations to the project.
Remote interactions such as visits, networking, and panels or conversations with organizations, local experts, and responsible business leaders further add to the local context and the program's challenge project.
At the end of the week, the teams will present their final recommendations to the social organization. They will also reflect on their experience and how to apply their newly developed skills and knowledge in their academic and professional lives.
