A week at PUSH…

An interesting week so far,…What has surprised me is that PUSH´s centre is a happy place, with many smiling faces, despite the fact that most of the staff and children are infected or affected by HIV. I am suprised to find that everyone is just carrying on and living normal lives, (with non of the stigma that was advertised in the British AIDS scare campaign). It is strange to think I was aprehensive about coming into contact with people with HIV… now it seems not much of an issue. Though, we have not yet met with full blown AIDS clients yet… which could be grim reality.
