JOB SUMMARY 

As the Business Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to be on a team of engaging, unique, international team members that want to eagerly invest in the next generation of responsible leaders. The ideal candidate for this role will also be on a similar mission and be willing to expand the client base of the organization through outreach, relationship building, and connection. In this role you will assist the BD team with scaling the under construction Fluid Program offerings, refine and co-design an ethical and inclusive scholarship process, and assist with prospective, new, and current clients needs. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Research existing partnership opportunities at current universities 
Research relevant topics that pertain to business development and program needs
Create client-facing visuals for the BD team to utilize during proposals/pitches  
Help build out and refine Fluid Programs offerings 
Help refine and create a scholarship process for Emzingo|U programs using inclusive strategies 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student 

  • Proficiency with technology including basic computer operations

  • Ability to meet goals, stay organized and maintain a positive attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively with team members

  • A solution-oriented approach and the ability to keep calm under pressure and solve problems 

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Strong sense of cultural awareness and global competency

  • Experience with study abroad or previous travel 

  • Has network of relationships and groups that could benefit from Emzingo|U programs 

  • Experience with previous or current leadership positions

  • Ongoing bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Finance or marketing, and other related fields

Job Title: Business Development Intern 

Hours: 20 hours/week

Compensation: $700 monthly stipend + Full scholarship towards the program fee for an in-person Emzingo|U program (excluding flights)

Duration: 6 months - September 27, 2021 - March 25, 2022

Location: This is a fully remote internship, however, preference will be given to candidates who are physically located in Denver, Colorado, USA.
